The new company has a seasoned and impressive senior management team with vast industry experience.

Tony Di Napoli, President and Chief Executive Officer

Founder of NexTech Solutions, Inc., Mr. Di Napoli has over 23 years of semiconductor manufacturing and capital equipment related experience. He has held technical and technical management positions at Perkin-Elmer, National Semiconductor, Philips Semiconductor and AMD. Mr. Di Napoli was founder and Chief Executive Officer of Progressive Systems Technology and holds five technical patents. Founded in 1991, PST was a high-tech equipment company serving both semiconductor and FPD industries. PST was listed in the INC. top 500 privately held companies for two consecutive years. Mr. Di Napoli has been the recipient of numerous awards, including Austin, Texas High Tech Entrepreneur of the Year finalist in 1996 and Austin, Texas High Tech Entrepreneur of the Year in 1997. In June of 1999, Mr. Di Napoli sold PST to Asyst Technologies, a NASDAQ listed company. Mr. Di Napoli became Global Vice President of Sales at Asyst Technologies in June, 1999 and held that position until March of 2002. He founded NexTech Solutions, Inc. in the 2nd Quarter of 2002.

Ted Snodgrass – Vice Chairman and Director

Mr. Snodgrass founded FAS in 1988. Prior, he held the positions of engineering manager and sales manager at Headway Research, where he also served on the corporate management team. He has received numerous patents and has written technical papers that have been published in journals and university textbooks. He was a member of the Semi-NAFPD Executive Board of Directors and has served as an advisor to the National Science Planning Office at the White House. Mr. Snodgrass is the inventor of “Digital Dispense Technology,” now widely used in semiconductor fabrication. He received a BS with honors in electrical engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Greg Gibson, Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Gibson joined FAS shortly after its inception and one of the key people in the development of FAS’ extrusion technology. Over the years, Mr. Gibson has played a key role in the design and development of FAS’ product lines. Prior to FAS, Mr. Gibson was employed by Headway Research as well as working for Texas Instruments in the Defense Related Products and Geophysical Services Group. He holds several patents in the areas of high purity fluid filtration dispensing and advanced coating techniques. Mr. Gibson holds a BS in mechanical engineering from Southern Methodist University.

David A. Torres, Vice President of Worldwide Sales

Mr. Torres has over 27 years of semiconductor fabrication and capital equipment related experience. Mr. Torres has held senior level product marketing management and capital equipment sales management positions at Fairchild Semiconductor, Memorex Corporation and Quartz International Corporation. In 1996 he co-founded Motion Automation Systems, Inc., a high-tech wafer handling equipment company serving the semiconductor industry. Mr. Torres held the position of Vice President, Sales & Marketing from MAS’s founding in 1996 until December 2002. Mr. Torres has been the recipient of numerous achievement awards, including Sales Rep of the Year, New Account Rep of the Year and Regional Sales Manager Excellence Awards. In the 1st Quarter of 2003, Mr. Torres joined the NexTech management team as a co-founding member.

Miguel Friedrich, Vice President of Marketing

Miguel Friedrich has twelve years experience in marketing, sales and finance. Mr. Friedrich formerly served as Vice President of a Dallas based investment banking firm focusing on mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. During his tenure, Mr. Friedrich was responsible for business development, project underwriting and placement process, generating over $500 million worth of business. Mr. Friedrich initially joined FAS Technologies in 2002 as a consultant, helping the company restructure and rebuild after a significant downturn in the technology markets. He later joined the team on a full time basis as Executive Vice President where he was involved in negotiating multimillion dollar licensing transactions as well as equipment sales. He recently played an instrumental role in the merger with NexTech Solutions and currently serves as Vice President of Marketing for the merged entity NexTechFAS. In addition to his marketing duties, Mr. Friedrich is responsible for managing sales activities in Europe and the U.S. Mr. Friedrich is fluent in Spanish, German and English.

Scott Snodgrass, Vice President of Engineering

Scott Snodgrass joined FAS in 1990 while completing his BS degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington. Following graduation he continued with FAS, eventually expanding his role to Director of Engineering, and has been a key contributor in the development of extrusion coating products and core methodologies, which have resulted in the award of several patents in that field. His experience also includes leadership roles for projects in both domestic and overseas markets, as well as the stewardship of the company's intellectual property portfolio. Mr. Snodgrass played a significant role during FAS's merger with NexTech Solutions, where he is now the Vice President of Engineering.

Tom Snodgrass, Vice President of Operations

Mr. Snodgrass joined FAS in 1988 as general manager. He is responsible for managing operations, including scheduling, manufacturing and production of customer products. In addition, he oversees all production research and development efforts, general management of employees, payroll accounting and plant operations. Mr. Snodgrass attended West Texas State University and Frank Phillips University, receiving a degree in business accounting. Mr. Snodgrass is a two-tour Vietnam veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy from 1967 to 1971.

Brent Allen, Director

Brent Allen is Managing Director of Allen and Willis, LLC which serves as a General Partner for many of the Allen Family Companies in Perryton, Texas.  Most of these companies are involved in oil and natural gas exploration, production, gathering or service and supply.   Mr. Allen has served the oil and natural gas exploration and production industry in several capacities including President of Panhandle Producers and Royalty Owners Association, Chairman of various Washington, D.C. based Independent Petroleum Association of America committees including the Communications Committee, twice Chair of the Natural Gas Committee, the Executive Committee and Nomination Committee.  Mr. Allen graduated from the University of Texas in 1982 with a BBA in Petroleum Land Management.

Abbie Gregg, Director

Abbie Gregg, a Board Director of NexTechFAS, currently serves as President of Abbie Gregg, Inc. which provides consulting and engineering services to the microelectronics industry, where she has completed over 500 projects. Ms. Gregg has an extensive background in microelectronics with over 15 years as an Engineering Consultant, specializing in microelectronics process analysis and startup/restructuring of laboratories and manufacturing facilities. Prior to her role as an Engineering Consultant, Ms. Gregg’s experience includes 20 years of process engineering and operations management within the semiconductor industry at major semiconductor device manufacturers such as General Instrument Corp., Motorola Inc. and National Semiconductor. Ms. Gregg is also an instructor in Del Web Construction Graduate Studies and Industry Programs at Arizona State University. Ms. Gregg holds a B.S. in Materials Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and studied Electrical Engineering at the University of Maine.

Elliott Schlam, Director

Dr. Elliott Schlam is an internationally recognized authority on the electronic display industry. His consulting firm, Elliott Schlam Associates, provides investment advice to the financial community and strategic, technical and marketing guidance to corporate managements as well as patent advice and expert witness services to the legal community. He previously served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Sigmatron Nova, Inc. a flat panel display manufacturing company and as a Division Director at the U.S. Army Laboratory Command where he pioneered the technical development and use of flat panel displays in military and commercial systems. He is currently serving as a principal at New Visual Media Group, LLC. Dr. Schlam has made leading technical, strategic, manufacturing and business related contributions in electroluminescence, LED, active matrix, liquid crystal, plasma, field emission, CRT, HMD and other display technologies. He has been cited in Fortune, Barrons, Electronics, High Technology, Laser Focus, Electronic Design, Electronic News, Electrical Engineering Times and many other journals. Dr. Schlam earned the Ph.D., M.E.E., and B.E.E. from New York University and earned a M.S. in Management Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He is a Fellow of the Society for Information Display.
